WELCOME TO THE VOX ROOM!

The Vox Room is a vocal coaching studio based in Hitchin (UK) founded by Lucy Potterton - international session singer and vocal coach. Lucy's full professional singing profile can be viewed here.

As a vocal coach, Lucy has worked on numerous prime time TV shows including The Voice UK, Little Mix The Search, Let It Shine and The Voice Kids. She has toured the world with international artists such as Florence & The Machine, Elizabeth Fraser and The Swingles and performed on multiple Hollywood film soundtracks for Disney, Marvel, Universal, Warner Bros. etc. She is dedicated to getting the absolute best out of her students whilst putting an emphasis on maintaining vocal health at all times. Her teaching style is predominantly pop and contemporary commercial singing. However she does also teach a select number of classical and musical theatre students.

At The Vox Room, Lucy currently teaches the following exam boards. Trinity (rock and pop vocals), RSL (rock and pop vocals), ABRSM (classical singing and singing for musical theatre).

Lucy is qualified in Estill Figure Proficiency and is currently on the Estill Master Trainer pathway with Anne-Marie Speed, due to graduate in Summer 2022.

The online platform option for The Vox Room allows students greater choice and freedom than ever before when it comes to choosing a vocal coach, and provides an opportunity for a new era of tuition. The remote learning experience is a wonderful way to make great coaching accessible to everyone, wherever you happen to be in the world!

For in person coaching, The Vox Room is based in the picturesque market town of Hitchin in North Hertfordshire, just 30 minutes outside of London Kings Cross/St Pancras on the train and close to Junction 8 of the A1(M).
